Microsoft has announced the Surface Laptop 4, the newest in its Windows 10 PC notebook series, with AMD and Intel processors available in all sizes, for the first time.
The Surface Laptop 4 is a standard luxury laptop with a 13.5in or 15in touchscreen display which offers a smoother hardware and software experience.
The new laptop will be available for purchase in the United States, Canada, and Japan on April 15, with shipping starting on April 15.
More markets will be added in the “coming weeks,” according to Microsoft.
Both laptops have at least 256GB of disposable SSD storage and 8GB of RAM, and are up to 70% faster than the previous Surface Laptop 3.
They have big glass trackpads and Microsoft’s finest keyboards, as well as USB-A and USB-C ports.
The 15in Laptop 4 is only available in aluminum, but the 13.5in version is available in a variety of colors and finishes, including aluminum and Alcantara fabric.
Face unlocking, Dolby Atmos headphones, the new wifi 6, Bluetooth 5, up to 19 hours of battery life, and quick charging are all included.
For better video calls, they also have a new HD webcam with enhanced low-light performance and dual studio mics.
