Egypt-based health technology startup Dileny Technologies LLC has secured a $160.00 non-equity grant. The Fund will be used to expand its AI-Enabled platform to improve and expedite the detection of breast cancer.

With about 2 million new cases each year worldwide, breast cancer has become the second most prevalent form of cancer. DilenyTech seeks to transform breast cancer screening and diagnostic workflow by providing innovative AI assistance for more accurate detection and accelerated reporting of breast cancer.

DilenyTech offers tools for medical imaging research, breast cancer risk evaluation and structured reporting, and has offered its services to top-level multinational health technology companies across three continents.

DilenyTech plans to scale up operations after obtaining $160,000 in grant capital from the Information Technology Academy Collaboration program, which is aligned with the Information Technology Industry Development Agency of Egypt (ITIDA). This comes a few months after a US patent for a novel AI-enabled image analysis system was awarded to DilenyTech.

The start-up has recently launched its platform in both English and Arabic.
