EnableMe Kenya

EnableMe, a global disability and development organization, has launched an online platform in Kenya that connects, supports, and empowers people with disabilities through community-oriented technical solutions.

The organization strives to see people for their abilities rather than their disabilities, and to provide the opportunities that enable them to reach their full potential.

EnableMe’s mission is to collaborate with partners to learn about the basic and individual needs of people with disabilities, and to build an online forum and community that provides valuable knowledge and resources.

EnableMe’s goal for this online network and community is to empower 1 billion people with disabilities.

This vision is focused on EnableMe’s motto and mission statement: “Every human being has some kind of disability.” We, on the other hand, want to focus on abilities and help people reach their full potential.”

Because of a lack of awareness, people with disabilities are often overlooked by their communities and families, or are unaware of their medical conditions.

EnableMe connects people across their group and offers needed information on an easily accessible platform. The company said, “Information is Power.”
