Crenov8 Consulting, organizers of top Agro Export Conference, Meet the Farmers Conference (MTFC) has announced the selected five Ghana Agric start-ups that will take part in the Innov8 Agric Pitch Competition at the Ghana MTFC where they compete for a chance to win the $5,000 grant prize at the maiden edition of the Agric Innovation Contest, MTFC Innov8Agric Challenge.
The challenge will bring together bright innovative ideas in Ghana during the Meet the Farmers Conference holding in God Coast, Accra on 4th July 2018. One winner from here will go on to pitch before a global audience at the MTFC Grand Finale which will hold on 4th November 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The five start-ups were selected based on innovativeness, originality, and viability of the idea by top-notch entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders in Africa. The start-ups include; Skylink Agro, GraCom Tomatoes, Osado, Apam Farms and QualiTrace.
The Challenge is designed to promote ground-breaking ideas for early stage Agric entrepreneurs from all sectors of the agriculture ecosystem using creative and innovative methods to change the landscape of the agriculture value chain in Africa. The competition will guide Agritech entrepreneurs around their way in the industry and open them up to funding and investment opportunities in Africa and GCC region.
The winner from Ghana will get an all-expense paid trip to Dubai for the Grand Finale of the challenge and an opportunity to win the cash prize of $5,000 grant, funding, and investment opportunities from African and GCC investors, opportunities for business expansion and access to experts and mentors in the business of Agriculture.
