The research results will lead to the identification and discovery of new drugs for people across all races since Africa is the most ethnic diversified continent.
Telkom Telecommunication Company has announced plans to switch from MTN for Vodacom for roaming services. This new move will help Telkom subscribers to switch easily to the Vodacom network whenever there is little or no Telkom network coverage.
Good news! The US Consulate General plans to train 144 Nigerian students on drone technology. This was made known by Russell Brooks, the Public Affairs Officer of the Consulate at the Nigerian Youth Drone Academy workshop held on July 1st, 2019. Selected students will be taught how to assemble and fly drones.
Here is another good news for anyone intending to rent an apartment in Nigeria! Rent Small Small, a Nigerian online Real Estate platform has partnered with a cleaning service provider, Maid Easy and furniture rental startup, Furnisure to expand their service offerings. The three startups have formed “Rent Small Small Group”, an all-encompassing service provider for their user base.
Gebeya, an Ethiopian edtech platform plans to expand to Senegal. This move will help them serve the largely untapped Francophone market, create employment opportunities and train tech professionals. Gebeya also plans to train 5000 students in Ethiopia by 2021.
