AppsAfrica Innovation is here again with the 4th edition of the African innovation Awards to celebrate the best in mobile and tech from across Africa and showcase the continent’s most innovative ventures. Entries are now open for the annual event which will hold in Cape Town, South Africa on November 12th 2018.
The award which provide winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking with over 300 core tech professionals at the Awards party on the eve of AfricaCom.
Winners would also be invited to Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2019 to network with over 400 tech leaders from across the continent.
It has 14 Categories and will provide a level playing field and open to corporates, established ventures or start-ups that have launched services in at least one African market.

The categories include;
Health Tech Award, Best African App Award, Enterprise Solution Award, Blockchain Award, News & Entertainment Award, Educational Award, Fintech Award, Agritech Award, Social Impact Award, IoT Award, mCommerce Award, Changing Africa Award, and Mobility Award

Deadline
Entries will close on September 7th and the shortlisted finalists will be announced in October 2018. Award applications will be assessed by a team of expert judges who are selected based on their knowledge, influence and contribution to the improvement of technology and business in Africa.
