Oracle Cloud Application to Drive Digital Transformation for MTN

MTN, one of Africa’s mobile telecommunications, has chosen Oracle Cloud Applications to pioneer digital transformations across all its major business operations. Implementing this operation will aid MTN drive efficiency, scale operations and integration across its local and regional operations in Africa.

Oracle has said this suite of cloud applications will improve MTN’s working capital through orderliness in inventory management. The application will propel more productivity through IOT, mobile application capabilities, self-service and automation. Aside also enabling management visibility for real-time performance management.

Belinda O’ Neil, Executive Boost, MTN said “MTN and Oracle partnered in 2018 to complete the design of the Oracle Cloud Applications. 2019 focuses on finalising the build and deploying across our markets.”

MTN will implement Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Supply Chain Management (SCM); Enterprise Performance Management (EPM); Customer Experience (CX); Platform as a Service (PaaS) and also the Oracle Service Cloud solutions under its initiative.
