AfriLabs launched a €2M Capacity Programme at the AfriLabs Annual Gathering 2019 held at African Union headquarters, Ethiopia. AfriLabs Capacity Building Programme (ACBP) is funded by the Agence Française de Développement (AFD).
AfriLabs is a Pan-African network of 174 tech innovation hubs across 45 African countries. The company was founded in 2011 to support the growth of tech hubs and facilitate economic development in Africa.
It launched ACBP for hub founders to access Africa-tailored content, models and best practices for hub management. The fund was availed by AFD Group, a French aid that finance initiatives that promote a sustainable world.
