AICPA and CPA.com Startup Accelerator Calls Accounting Startups for Submission

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants in collaboration with CPA.com Startup is organizing an accelerator for Accounting Startups to apply. The startups are required to develop ideas utilizing AI, Blockchain, and automation. The selected startups will be offered $25000 each at the end of the cohort.

AICPA and CPA.com Startup Accelerator aim to grow startups in the accounting profession. The program transforms accountants into go-to and indispensable analysts, strategists and consultants. It focuses on;

 Accounting Techs (AccounTechs) – Startups that perform value-added advisory and accounting services with the use of advanced technology. The eligible startups include those that use:

Regulatory Techs (RegTech) – Startups that facilitates the delivery of regulatory requirements such as monitoring, reporting, compliance, risk management, and fraud detection. The eligible startups include those that use:

Interested startups should have attained seed or pre-Series A funding, a functioning product or service and a value proposition for the accounting profession. Alongside the $25000 fund, startups will be given access to mentorship and other benefits of participation. The application closes on the 30th of November 2019, interested accountants can apply here.
