Altron Bytes People Solutions (BPS), a South African-based outsourcing company, has launched a cloud academy to train professionals. This is coming after Microsoft built data centers in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The launch of the academy is aimed at bridging the professional gap between the physical and virtual worlds.

Many companies are opting for cloud-based infrastructure but are limited by unskilled professionals in the industry. The cloud academy was set up by Altron and Microsoft to train and certify professionals who want to remain relevant in the future. They will be trained by professional cloud engineers from Microsoft. Microsoft Azure certificates will be issued at the end of the training program.

The training module comprises of how to manage data for compliance, reach new clients, automate standard tasks, configure cloud storage, set up computing without a server, produce innovative products and lots more.

The program offers practical knowledge of how to land a career in cloud technology and includes how to install and maintain Azure environments. It is open to both experienced and non-experienced professionals that are willing to go into the cloud computing industry.
