Rahul Pathak, G.M. Amazon Managed Blockchain, said that the platform was developed for customers who want to use blockchain frameworks to quickly process business transactions without the need for a centralized authority. It will manage the network, certificates and security networks. Customers can now focus on application development instead of managing a blockchain network.
Amazon Blockchain Management eliminates the need for customers to secure certificates for access control, using AWS Key Management Service technology. It provides a fully managed ledger database which makes it easy for customers to replicate transactions on the Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB). The database is currently available in North Virginia and will expand to additional regions next year.
