We’re in a season of Funds… Piggybank.ng, Nigeria’s online and mobile app savings platform, has secured a seed Funding of $1.1M, from High Net Worth Individuals, led by Olumide Soyombo, Founder of LeadPath Nigeria, with support from International and Pan-African investors Village Capital and Ventures Platform.

Also in Kenya, Uber has launched a food delivery app called Uber Eats, which makes getting great food as simple as requesting an Uber ride, the app will enable eaters in Nairobi make orders from their favourite restaurants for delivery to various parts of the city.
