Bolt, (formerly dubbed Taxify) has expanded its operations to 7 more towns in Kenya. The expansion is in its bid to offer on-demand cab-hailing service in all parts of Kenya. The seven towns include Nyeri, Meru, Embu, Nanyuki, Karatina, Kilifi, and Malindi.

Bolt’s operation in Kenya has grown over the years. The ride-hailing company in the past few months has expanded its service to 13 towns in Kenya. The new seven towns it expands to will make the total of its operation base in Kenya to amount to 20.

Also, the expansion will make the ride-hailing company compete with other transport companies and lead the Kenya transport sector via its affordable price, wider reach and sophisticated gadgets.

The Country Manager Bolt, Ola Akinusi noted that the company has experienced growth in Kenya. This was birthed from the quality of service offered by the on-demand company and its competitive price.

The expansion will further let Bolt offer convenient, and affordable transport services in Kenya.

The company will also provide urban transportation for everyone and create viable economic opportunities across the location the business is operational.
