Bosch Calls for Smart Mobility Pitch Competition Submission

A German multinational engineering and technology company headquartered in Gerlingen, ‘Bosch’ has called for its smart mobility pitch submission. The competition is in a bid to promote solutions that address mobility issues.

The interested applicants who win will stand a chance to not only get the $30,00 grand prize but also participate in Bosch’s own accelerator and incubator program.

The company seeks early-stage startups who intend to develop innovative smart mobility solutions across outlined themes. Themes include the Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity, distribution and logistics, ride-hailing, city infrastructure, electric vehicles and renewable energy. Startups who intend to think outside the box can also build solutions that cut across Insurance and data tracking systems.

Bosch will provide support to develop innovative technologies for the selected startups and also grant them access to its plotting facilities and laboratories. The startups will also have access to Bosch wide array of customers.

According to Yves Nono, Vice President – mobility solutions, sales region Africa at Robert Bosch Ltd, the company looks forward to selecting and collaborating with future businesses whose goals align with theirs. As their resources and assets could come in handy in ramping up the overall productivity of the scene.
