Call for Applications: Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum 2019

The 2019 edition of AWIEF is scheduled to hold its Growth Accelerator Program in South Africa. The Nedbank sponsored program is currently receiving applications from female business owners in multi-sectors to participate. Nedbank is committed to supporting small and medium enterprises throughout South Africa. It contributes to initiatives and helps create jobs in local municipalities.

The Growth Accelerator Program entails a three months training of 25 selected females in business modelling and growth strategy to hone their skills, scale businesses and make them investment ready. The course outline includes financial modelling, growth strategy, pitch training, target marketing, design framework thinking, access to finance and access to the market.

At the end of the training, 8 entrepreneurs will be given an opportunity to pitch their businesses to business tycoons, decision-makers and investors at the Pitch n Grow session. This will be during the 5th Annual AWIEF Conference, Exhibitions and Award on 29th – 30th October at Cape Town International Convention Center, South Africa.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: Applicants must be female with a business in a post-revenue phase. The business should have the potential for scale and innovative ventures; operated for three years and above, and seeking investment for growth.
