Glamera, a mobile health and beauty service startup based in Cairo raises $250k investment

Glamera, a mobile health and beauty service startup based in Cairo, Egypt has secured the sum of $250 000 funds in its seed round. The fund was invested by a secret investor and will be used to expand Glamera’s services to other parts of Egypt, including Saudi Arabia.

Glamera is the first mobile application that provides an on-demand beauty service to Arabian women in Egypt. The app was launched earlier this year by Mohammed Hassan and has had over 2000 beauty service providers registered to its platform since debut.

The beauty App makes use of these registered service providers to meet the needs of the user and offer major services like manicure and pedicure, makeup, stylized hairdo, spa services, gyms, and cosmetic clinics services.

Glamera app also allows users to choose the preferred location for their health service, pick the service they want to be rendered, and pay for the service when completed.

With the new funding, the startup will expand its services to Alexandria and Saudi Arabia.

The startup currently constitutes a 35 man team and operates in Nasr City, Sheraton, Nozha and Heliopolis.
