Estonia-based TAI+ Launches New App to Link Kenya truckers and Cargo shippers

Estonian-based logistics startup TAI+ has launched a new mobile application that enables truck drivers to connect in real-time with cargo shippers in Kenya. The app was built to address logistic challenges combating the transport sector and to enhance trust and transparency in cargo handling.

Kenya’s transport sector has overtime been embattled with diverse issues varying from uncompleted large transport projects, bottlenecks from cargo clearing agency and increase the cost of logistics and transportation. The new app will, therefore, help combat these problems for cargo stakeholders and provide a sustainable marketplace where freight transporters can interact.

TAI+ CEO, Rait Raal stated that the App will bring sanity to the freight transportation sector in Kenya and give the sector a clean sheet. The app will also enable business owners to access data analytics on cargo transportation and help them make the best decisions for their businesses.

It will also disrupt the logistics industry and address perennial cargo transportation challenges. This will be achieved through the provision of real-time information on cargo movement, demand for transport services and a regular schedule of cargo.

It is built on a robust and scalable technology developed by Reach-U, and currently has over 300 trucks signed on the platform. Users interested in downloading the app can visit the Google Play Store to download.
