The Ethiopia government has partnered Chinese Company Infervision to build a national Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure in the country. Sisay Tola and Chen Kuan signed the agreement. The Ethiopian Minister of Innovation and Technology and the CEO of the Infravision respectively.

Ethiopia has been in the news in recent times for diverse agreements and tech innovation. The country is, however, set to create yet another innovative technology- National AI Infrastructure.

Ethiopia will use its partnership with Infervision to improve citizens’ life through the power of Artificial Intelligence. The AI infrastructure will boost tech capability in the country and scale innovations in the education, health and medical sector.

Also, the partnership will foster the exchange of ideas, increase investment opportunities and help to scale various sectors of the Ethiopia economy.

We hope these different partnerships will bring positive technology growth to Ethiopia especially in the face of the current data manipulation and siphoned by Chinese companies.
