Google, the global search engine giant, is set to open a new cloud hub in Warsaw, Poland. The giant also partnered Poland’s Domestic cloud provider DCP to sell its Cloud Service in Poland.
DCP is a local cloud provider in Poland. The company was founded by Polish Indigenous Bank PKO and Polish Development Fund.
The partnership will make DCP become a reseller of Google Cloud Service, and also make it manage Google Cloud Service in the country. Indigenous Polish businesses will also have access to take hybrid cloud services.

Google Cloud CEO, Thomas Kurian described the move as a right step in the right direction. He noted that digital technology is the next growth engine for the Polish economy. Thus, the partnership will help them provide advanced infrastructure and software to polish enterprises and also help the search giant accelerate cloud adoption by large and small scale businesses in Poland.
Google Cloud customers-based in the Central and Eastern Europe ( CEE ) region will leverage the partnership to benefit high performing cloud service storage for their workloads.
DCP CEO, Michael Potoczek also applaud the partnership and described it as an important moment for the Polish economy, since global enterprises are already in competitive stride to take advantage of the search giant’s cloud service. He noted that having a Google Cloud Region, together with DCP owned infrastructure, will allow the duo to build hybrid cloud services which will bring more value to customers.
A multi-cloud strategy is the next big thing in cloud technology.
