A platform regarded to share knowledge on maximising the benefits of digital media, “Handle It Africa” held its second edition of its conference on May 4, 2018 at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Its an impactful forum devoted to revolutionizing how digital media is used, consumed and deployed effectively for certain desired results. The summit which was unveiled in 2017 was well reported in the media as a successful summit.
This year’s event tagged; ‘Social Media: Expanding Influence, Broadening Thoughts’ and the sessions featured media moguls who have successfully built strong personal and corporate brands like; Co-Founder of RED; Adebola Williams, Sam Onyemelukwe of Trace Anglophone Africa, Adenike Oyetunde, Daddy Freeze, TV Presenter and Red Carpet Host, Bolanle Olukanni, Adenike Oyetunde as well as celebrities and social media influencers like; Toyin Abraham, Kenny Blaq, Lasisi Elenu and host of others media entrepreneurs.
The conference gave participants the opportunity to meet, network, and collaborate with young tech entrepreneurs, digital marketers and social entrepreneurs who are leading the charge and creating impact in diverse sectors.
Handle It Africa was organized by Olufemi Oguntamu of Penzaarville Africa.

Adebola Williams…. “If you know that all I want is the media, then let your running around be in the media space.”
In his discussion during the conference, Adebola Williams was quoted to have said “Do everything that makes you happy…. You have to always get value out of what you do. If you are doing everything, it’s fine but is it making you happy or do you think at that its getting you closer to where you are going.”
“Everybody needs the media, one way or the other.”
“You can’t brand without a value. Putting identification on your value is key.”
“Every experience is useful. No experience is useless it is for you to sit down and say what did I learn from this, what did I take from this….What I find from you is that you have a vision for your life, if you have a roadmap of how you are going to achieve that vision, you will do less of running around. The reason why you are all running around is that there is no vision.”
Adenike Oyetunde…. “You should use social media to amplify what you are doing and what you are trying to accomplish”
Kenny Blaq….. “I’ve been doing comedy for 10 years but people knew me three years ago. Until you go viral, keep doing what you know how to do. Assurance go cover you”
