Jack Ma Sends Test Kits, Face Masks and Protective Suits to African Countries Hit by Covid-19

Jack Ma, on behalf of his foundation, has sent test kits, face masks, and protective suits to African countries hit by the Covid-19 outbreak. He sent 1.1 million test kits, 6 million face masks, and 60,000 protective suits to Africa.

He sent the relief materials shortly after his Alibaba Foundations donated 1 million face masks and 500,000 testing kits to the United States. Italy and Spain equally received shipments containing face masks and other medical supplies to fight the spread of the virus.

Jack Ma equally called on the nations of the world to come together and jointly tackle Coronavirus.

Coronavirus has affected more than 160 million countries and claimed over 16,000 lives across the world. Over the past week, the number of confirmed cases in Africa increased exponentially. According to Worldometer’s statistics of countries where Coronavirus has spread, there are 402 confirmed cases in South Africa, 366 in Egypt, 230 in Algeria, 143 in Morocco, and 99 in Burkina Faso.
