Jumia Launches Delivery Subscription Service in Nigeria

E-commerce marketplace Jumia has launched a delivery subscription service ‘Jumia Prime’ in Nigeria. The service offers Jumia customers access to unlimited free delivery. This launch is in line with its anniversary celebration.

The service will be available in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria for the meantime. Subscribed customers will have access to free delivery within the period of the subscription. The orders you can enjoy free deliveries on is however limited.

The subscription service will operate on a monthly model. A customer will be able to purchase up to 3 months subscription. Here are the prices below;

1-Month (Lagos) subscription — ₦ 1,999

3-Month (Lagos) subscription — ₦ 4,999

1-Month (Abuja) subscription — ₦ 2,499

3-Month (Abuja) subscription — ₦ 6,499

Here are some Terms & Conditions on the Jumia Prime;

Jumia Prime subscriptions are available through prepayment only.
Jumia Prime subscription plans are limited in quantity and when all available subscriptions have been purchased no more shall be available.
Jumia Prime cannot be used for professional usage. Professional usage is qualified when more than 50 orders per month are placed.
No more than 3 addresses can be used per individual account using Jumia Prime Services.
Jumia Prime subscription is non-refundable and non-cancellable.
The renewal of Jumia Prime is not automatic. To benefit from Jumia Prime advantages when the subscription period has ended, a new Jumia Prime subscription must be purchased.
Jumia Prime’s free delivery applies to Jumia Global products but doesn’t cover International Delivery Fees.
Jumia may refuse the inscription to Jumia Prime service to any client.
