Kasha is an e-commerce platform that sells women’s healthcare and beauty products.  The company was founded in 2016 by two women with a goal to build a technology platform that focuses on women. They just officially launched new operations in Kenya, three years after establishment in Rwanda.

I'm excited to share our blog post about Kasha's next chapter. From our start in #Rwanda, to our recent expansion and launch in #Kenya, along with an amazing team in E. Africa, we are incredibly excited about this next phase. #CareForYou @kashaglobal https://t.co/ZBf6Yt8IHg

— Joanna Bichsel (@JoannaBichsel) April 2, 2019

The co-founders, Joanna Bichsel, and Amanda Arch launched the platform to address global inequality that denies women the dignity of confidentiality and choice when making personal health decisions. Kasha provides products, information, and access to consultation services to women in both rural and urban areas. The digital platform makes it easy for women to purchase products like contraceptives and pads without stigmatization.

Kasha won the Rwanda round of Seedstars Summit Award in 2016 for its women’s healthcare e-commerce platform. Products can be purchased both online and offline through mobile money, cash payments on delivery or credit card transactions.

Are you a woman in Rwanda or Kenya?  Visit the websites or download the mobile app to shop for personal products. Products will be delivered via dispatch rides to the shopper’s location across the countries.
