Little Cab—a Kenya-based on-demand ride-hailing company has introduced a WhatsApp-enable ride booking feature for its users. This process will help scale Little Cab’s reservation options for its users.
In our quest to make sure you can request a Little cab anywhere with or without the Little app, we are working endlessly to create more user-friendly features. We are excited to introduce a Whatsapp feature that allows you request for a cab in the simplest steps. #innovation pic.twitter.com/S692VQ0Hh5

Since its launch in 2016, Little Cab has allowed its users to hail a cab either online or via USSD. The e-taxi introduced the *826# code which riders can dial from their mobile phones to book a ride. Adding an online chat option will further help in scaling their growth amid competitions.
Commuters across Kenya, Uganda, and Zambia will have the opportunity to hail a cab via their WhatsApp application. All they need to do is send their location to a WhatsApp number in an automated process, which will then scan and provide details of a driver within the rider’s location via the platform.
How it works;
Add +254 777 000 777 to your contact list, and save as Little Cab,
Share your location with the number via WhatsApp,
A driver is provided automatically for you within a few minutes and you are on your way to your destination.
Commuters are liable to discounts when a ride is ordered via WhatsApp.
