The pan-African entrepreneurial training program, seed fund, and incubator by the name of Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST) is now led by the new managing director, Aaron Fu.

MEST is doubling its efforts to expand across the continent of Africa and just recently appointed the managing partner at NEST, Aaron Fu, as its new managing partner.

The program serves as a startup incubator with its strategic hubs spreading across the continent of Africa. Their role is to provide entrepreneurs with the access to funding, skills training, support, and mentorship.

They have helped quite a few startups in Ghana to reach higher, including Asoriba, MeQasa, Tress, and Kudobuzz.

The headquarters of the program remains in Ghana, but it has a physical presence in five total African countries so far.

The program intends to launch incubator spaces in Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe.

The background that Aaron Fu has will be able to open new opportunities for MEST. MEST will be able to proceed with working closely with local, regional, and global corporates as well as with the investor community to support the coming generations of startups.

Aaron Fu and team may also consider scaling up their business to the investment side as well in the future.

The environments in which the program intends to develop more in include big cities across the continent. They intend to especially further the strength of their presence in the existing countries that they already reside in.
