DisruptAD is a platform created by ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based holding company, that unifies all of the entity’s venture capital efforts into a single platform.
DisruptAD will work with Flat6Labs to launch Flat6Labs Ignite, an AED 120 million program that offers support as well as other benefits including mentorship and office space to early-stage companies.
The new change is part of DisruptAD’s five-year plan to help and grow over 1,000 startups while building a vibrant network of fund managers, accelerators, and incubators across Dubai.
Flat6Labs is a seed investor and venture program manager in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
DisruptAD invests in startups and other venture capital funds, as well as establishing new incubators and accelerators to help Abu Dhabi grow as a global startup hub.
Global innovators will be targeted by DisruptAD in markets such as North Africa, China, India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
The platform will collaborate with businesses that can benefit from ADQ’s emphasis on food and agriculture, energy and utilities, mobility and logistics, and healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
