Big 5 daily

Hi Guys!

The weekend is almost here and as we gear up for it, kindly have a go at today’s Big 5 Daily!

Enjoy!

Drum roll!!! Vivendi, a French mass media conglomerate headquartered in Paris has signed a partnership deal with the Rwanda Development Board. The partnership will allow them to develop and occupy the Kigali Cultural Village (KCV) for a period of 20 years. The $40 million deal will allow Rwanda to expand its tourism sector and create an avenue for new cultural entertainment. The innovation is juicy! You don’t want to miss the full details.

Big news, NOTS Solar Lamps partnered the Rwandan government to provide solar power to low-income earner families in Rwanda. The partnership will allow NOTS Solar to invest $70 million in a manufacturing facility for Solar Home System (SHS) for five (5) years. The deal comes with a microloan credit scheme and a marketing infrastructure which will allow low-income families in Rwanda effect an outright purchase of NOTS SHS. Check the blog to see how it will work!

Also, Match Group, an American Internet company that owns Tinder, and Match.com have acquired Harmonica. Harmonica is a Cairo-based dating app that focuses on the Muslim demographic. The acquisition will allow Match Group to retain 12 full-time employees from Harmonica. This team will tend to the global Muslim demography.
