UR Fuels, an on-demand fueling company has launched in Nigeria. This is in a bid to swiftly deliver fuel to customers. The company supplies petrol and diesel to companies and individuals upon request at specific Lagos locations and plans to expand across the country soon.

UR Fuels Founder and CEO, Ugo Nwobodo reveals that the platform was founded in a bid to bridge the gap of inconsistent power supply in the county. According to him, most homes in Nigeria use generators as a substitute, most of which are powered by gasoline and diesel. Considering that people have to visit fuel stations, UR fuel is looking to bridge this process.

The platform uses customized delivery trucks to carry fuel to customers once an order is made in a short time. UR Fuels aims at individuals, households and companies. They plan to supply their customer base targets with a product range of petrol and diesel. The company is strategically positioned to thrive in the country.

UR Fuels’ owns mini-tankers which can beat traffic due to its small size and driver’s agility. Though still at an early stage, the company plans to offer quality petroleum supplies and quality customer service.

A similar company FueledUp has tried its hands on the same service but faced so many challenges that didn’t allow it to scale through. With UR Fuels strategy, we will be keeping tabs to see how far the company will go with its offerings.
