TechTribe Accelerator (TTA), a free investment readiness programme based in Pretoria has embarked on a roadshow to scout for 100 startups in the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
TechTribe Accelerator is an online and virtual mentorship programme for startups across the SADC region. It provides an online learning management system, virtual mentorship, and access to opportunities for investment-ready startups. Its first roadshow event held in Lilongwe, Malawi on the 24th of September, 2019.
TTA is building a pipeline of investment-ready tech enterprises through a structured seven-month accelerator. The accelerator is funded by the Southern African Innovation Support Programme (SAIS 2) and supported by Impact Amplifier, MHub Malawi, SA Innovation Summit and Southern African Network for Biosciences (SANBio.)

The next roadshow will hold at BongoHive in Zambia on the 22nd of October, followed by another at BuniHub Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on 24th October, 2019. Other events in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa will follow suit.
TTA is open to startups that are unable to attend the roadshow events. By January 2020, 100 startups will begin the seven-month online accelerator and 30 will be selected for virtual mentorships. A final selection will take place when the accelerator ends in July 2020 and the selected will be invited to pitch at the 2020 SA Innovation Summit in September 2020.
