The 8th edition of the Social Media Week Lagos officially kicked off today with a bang. The week-long event is poised to expose attendees on how best to leverage digital tools, trends, ideas, and policies to transform industries and communities across Africa.
The event was held at Landmark Event Centre, strategically located at Victoria Island, an affluent city of Lagos, Nigeria. Attended by different people from the tech and social ecosystem, the environment had a robust air of excitement and enthusiasm.

The GIGM shuttle picked up attendees from Maryland and Jibowu at exactly 6:15 am. On arrival, there was a yoga session titled Rise & Shine Morning Yoga Flow at 8:30 am.
