First, Kenya’s Tourism and Wildlife Ministry has partnered with Facebook to revive the tourism sector in the country. The program, dubbed “Boost with Facebook for the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife,” is a digital marketing training program for travels and tours affected by the global pandemic.
Next, MTN has achieved 9.94 Network Quality Score, to become South Africa’s best mobile network. The network performance test was conducted by MyBroadband in the second quarter of 2020.

Good news! Alphabet has officially launched its balloon-powered internet service in Kenya. The project was carried out in partnership with Telkom Kenya and covers more than 50000 sq.km with a fleet of 35 balloons.
Uganda-based Eversend, a fintech company has raised over €850,000 to enter into the Nigerian and francophone African markets. It has been crowdfunding since May to beef up its products, accelerate user acquisition and expand into new markets.
