Village Capitals has released a list of 12 global fintech for its Forward MENA 2020 Accelerator. The 4 African fintechs on its list are We-Settle (Tunisia), Khazna Tech (Egypt), PayMint (Egypt), and Valify Solutions (Egypt).  

Intel plans to sponsor 9 -Youth-focused startups at AI Expo Africa 2020, the largest trade-focused AI, Robotics, 4IR, and Data Science business conference. It will make use of its “Intel Youth in AI ePavilion” to promote the inclusion of African youths in Artificial Intelligence.

 AppsFlyer, a global analytics company has partnered with Vodacom to operate in South Africa, Kenya & Nigeria. It looks to optimize Vodacom’s market activities and engagement with over 110 million mobile customers. 

Finally, for the Big 5, Canon has launched its Tech Talk Series to transform Africa’s Filmmaking Industry. This follows the release of its latest EOS C500 Mark II next-generation cameras. It also debuted a knowledge-sharing initiative for the African film making community.
