Big news! Telkom Kenya has partnered with the University of Nairobi (UoN) to launch a customized mobile data solution for the school. The deal will enable UoN to carry out a successful e-learning program amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Next, Ghana Tech lab and Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works collaborated to launch a $10,000 COVID-19 challenge. The funding is aimed at startups with solutions that can contain the pandemic.
Guess what? SMEs and MSMEs in South Africa will benefit from a R1 billion relief fund. The Johann Rupert fund aims to offer succor to South African businesses through Grants and loans.

Also, Global Ventures, a Dubai-based venture capital company has secured $39 million from its first fund. The fund will be used to invest in the Middle East and North African region.
