Next, Google plans to introduce three new online certificate courses on Coursera e-learning platform. Its Google Career Certificate will issue 100000 scholarships for online certificates in data analytics, project management and UX design.

Helios and Fairfax Africa Holdings have merged to create a pan-African money manager and investment firm called Helios Fairfax Partners. The majority stake is owned by Canada-based Fairfax and will be listed in Toronto Stock Exchange.
Mastercard Foundation and USIU-Africa seek to provide quality education for 1000 High-performing students. It will also offer leadership development training under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme over the next 10 years.
In yet another partnership, Uber and Moove have decided to provide Long-term car ownership deals for drivers in Sub-Saharan Africa. It will reduce the barriers to owning cars and save drivers the cost of hiring cars for Uber. Moove will provide short-term access to vehicles and drive-to-own options that span across 48 months.
