Call! The 2020 VC4A Venture Showcase – Series A is calling on African startups to apply. The venture is looking for 10 African innovative startups to showcase their solutions to the world. The startups stand to raise up to $500,000 -$10 million series A round.
Still on calls, enpact, a non-profit organization based in Ghana has opened applications for its International Mentorship Programme. The application is open to only African Female Founders across Egypt, Kenya, Ghana, Senegal, Nigeria and South Africa. Selected startups stand to gain access to tailored scale-up growth programs.

Guess what? Edtech platform Zendy has officially launched in Egypt. The Arabic Learning platform is leveraging its newly secured $1.2 million pre-seed funding to effect the launch.
Also, Microblogging platform, Twitter has rolled out a Voice Tweet Feature. Solely available for iOS users at the moment, the feature will allow users to add voice notes alongside regular text tweets.
Finally, YouTube Music has finally launched in Egypt. The streaming platform will now join the likes of Deezer and Spotify to contest for spots in the Egyptian market.
