Numero Uno, the story of Emmanuella Mayaki, an 11-year-old Nigerian software developer has been trending on Twitter. She is said to have gotten a teaching job at Southfield Primary School, Coventry England where she teaches kids how to code. She teaches HTML, CSS and Graphics Design.
Next, on the Big 5, a Chinese Consortium has built a $15m worth Tier III Data Centre called the Zamengoe Data Centre in Cameroon. The 3,000 sqm facility is equipped with an access management system, surveillance cameras, four standby generators worth 1000 kVA and 40,000-liter capacity of gas, and more.

Telkom is migrating from using copper-based digital subscriber line to fibre-based internet technology. According to the South African network provider, fibre promises significant improvement in users’ connectivity experience and less prone to downtime.
Taa Daa! Huawei has launched its Core 5.0 Mobile Services for developers across the globe. For developers to make the most of its “chip-device-cloud” capabilities, the HMS Core 5.0 will offer App Services, Graphics, AI, Smart Devices, Security, Media, and System services.
And, Samsung will release 5G-enabled Galaxy Z Flip phones on the 7th of August 2020. The Galaxy Z flip was released earlier this year. Samsung plans to unveil a set of new mobile devices at a virtual Galaxy Unpacked event broadcasted live from South Korea. The Z Flip will have an anti-fingerprint coating added to the exterior glass, in addition to the 5G network.
