Big news! Ventures Platform, The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), MTN, and the Lagos State Science and Research Innovation Council are investing $21000 into Seven startups. The investment will be shared at $3000 per startup, is an equity-free grant funding for startups to build COVID-19 innovative solutions. 

Next, Microtation founding partner and former director at Binance Labs, Yele Bademosi has launched Bundle a fintech platform. The social payment app aims to allow users to send and receive funds in cash or crypto.

Also, Tigo, a fintech startup based in Tanzania has launched cross-border fund transfers to mobile money across four countries. The platform partnered Safaricom, MTN Ugandan, and Rwandan Airtel and MTN to foster cross-border transactions

On e-commerce, Jumia has launched its portal in South Africa. The Africa-focused e-commerce platform will leverage the portal to provide South Africans with essential products.  

Finally, Zoom has launched a new security update. The Zoom version 5.0 aims to clamp down on Zoom-bombing by ensuring all users enter any meeting with a password.
