The startup will use the fund for product development, user acquisition, and regulatory compliance. It also plans to leverage the funding to foster expansion to Nigeria, Francophone Africa, and Europe.

Also, Aptive Capital, a US-based company has opened applications for African early stage startups. The platform aims to invest up to $10,000 in startups with social impacts that will benefit their communities across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Egypt, South Africa and Ethiopia.

Finally, Sticitt, a cashless payment startup based in South Africa has secured $249,000 funding. The fintech startup will leverage the funding to bolster its operational cost in current market rollouts.
