Big news! The European Union is providing over €20 billion for Asian, African, Latin American and Balkans. The fund will be used to combat the COVID-19 pandemic 

Next, Airtel Nigeria has announced its commitment to Nigeria in the fight against Coronavirus. The telco is committing $4.9 million towards the cause.

Guess what? MTN Zambia is partnering with Opera Mini to offer its customers free browsing. Opera Mini users will have access to free browsing and Opera News all through the pandemic. 

Also, Google has selected 11 SDG-focused startups across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for its pilot accelerator program. The online program will run from 5-months from the 21st of April 2020. 

Finally, Uber has launched a delivery app for South African retailers. The retailers will leverage the app to deliver essential goods to users.
