Big news! Sun Exchange, a peer-to-peer solar leasing startup has secured $3 million funding in a Series A round. The startup plans to leverage the funding to deepen its reach in Africa. 

Next, Orange through its venture capital initiative, Orange Digital venture, has revealed plans to invest $56,000 and $168,000 in seven startups. The funds will be available to startups selected at its Africa and Middle East Seed Challenge. Application is open till the 26th of June 2020 for startups across; Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, and Jordan.

Guess what! Merge a South African startup that connects entrepreneurs with investors has secured $100,000 seed funding. The startup secured the funding from a Nigerian investor Platform Capital.

Also, OjaExpress, an eCommerce platform based in Nigeria has been selected for the TechStars Kansas City accelerator program. This grants the startup access to $120,000 seed funding.

Finally, popular Logistics company, DHL has secured a stake in Link Commerce, another eCommerce company developed by MallforAfrica. DHL will leverage the stake to further facilitate its global expansion.
