US Impact Investor Invests $250k in Ghanaian Health Tech Start-up… Gray Matters Capital has invested up “to $250 000” in Ghanaian medical diagnostics start-up called Redbird Health Tech.
Digital Music Service, Boomplay Reaches 10 Million… The platform rose to 1 million installations in January 2017 and by November of the same year, it had risen to 5 million. Its fast-growing streak of installations doubled in June 2018 to 10 million installations making its total user base 29 million.
Now, let’s move to Agritech. Kenyan agritech start-up Apollo Agriculture has secured US$500,000 in funding from Dutch Development Bank FMO and the Rabobank Foundation to fund harvesting cycles, further develop its credit model, and expand geographically.
