The Next Einstein Forum (NEF) and the Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), have called for African sciencepreneurs to submit for its meetup.
Tagged the ‘Sciencepreneur Investor Meetup’, the competition aims to support sciencepreneurs with pitch preparation and investment readiness sessions. The meetup connects its trainees to investors after thorough training. The sessions will take place before the NEF Global Gatherings in March 2020.
The Next Einstein Forum, is the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) initiative. It connects science, society, and policy in Africa and the world. As it aims to leverage science for global human development. The forum intends to also aid scientists commercialize their solutions.

NEF understands the hitches that prevent growth in scientists. Hitches that border on tech transfer, infrastructure, etc. The organization plans to tackle this at the meetup. NEF believes that the next Einstein will be African. This is why they scout for young African science & techpreneur that would solve Africa’s biggest issues.
Interested applicants should ensure their model falls under one or more of the AfDB High 5s. This includes; Integrate Africa, Light up & Power Africa, Feed Africa, Industrialize Africa, and Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa.
Winning solutions from each category will win $25,000. They will also have the opportunity to pitch before investors at the NEF Innovation Salon 2020 in Nairobi for additional funding.
Applicants must own valid passport from an African country, be of African descent, and also present their work in English. Applicants must be available to travel to Nairobi, Kenya from March 5 – March 13, 2020.
