The National Information Technology Information Agency (NITDA) is organizing an Innovation Challenge with the theme “Inspiring Creativity & Innovation in the Nigerian Digital Economy” to harness innovative & impactful solutions for the development of a vibrant digital economy as part of the United Nations World Creativity Innovation Day 2021.
The United Nations’ World Creativity and Innovation Day (WCID) is a global UN day commemorating the importance of creativity and innovation in problem-solving in order to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the “global goals.”
Eligibility
All Nigerians with creative and impactful working ideas are encouraged to apply for the Innovation Challenge.
Solutions will be assessed based on their ability to create jobs and wealth, as well as their originality, marketability, scalability, and inclusiveness.
Benefit
Successful entries will be given the opportunity to present their ideas to stakeholders in the tech industry.
By April 19, 2021, all entries will be reviewed and judged, and those who are selected will be needed to give a 5-minute live pitch on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
