Travelstart has launched an online bus booking service in South Africa. The service provides cheapest fare rates for routes within South Africa and to neighboring countries such as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Namibia.

Travelstart is a Swedish company that leverages technology to make travel solutions simple and affordable for customers. It launched in South Africa in 2006 and subsequently in Nigeria, Egypt and Dubai. It offers online booking services for flights, hotels, vehicle lease, and holiday packages. The bus booking service is the latest addition to its online tools.

The bus booking service is available at www.bus.travelstart.co.za. The feature will help customers save time and money used to compare bus tickets. It lets customers search, book and pay for bus trips from popular transport companies such as Greyhound, Eldo Coaches, Citiliner and Intercape.

According to its press release, customers can book tickets for up to ten passengers in a single booking. They can filter search results by Bus Company, coach class, and price. Payments can be made using either Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit cards or at any Pick n Pay stores in South Africa.
