The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja hosted notable tech and business titans on 5th – 7th June, 2018 as they discuss the state and future of Digital Technology in Africa during the Digital Africa Conference and Exhibition. Said to be Africa’s premier consumer technology, the event provides the perfect platform to showcase different brand and enhance their reputation. It presents the participants the opportunity to network and access to strategic partners, investors and potential buyers for their products.
Organized by Digital Africa, the theme for this year’s edition is “Africa’s Tech Renaissance” and the conference focused on the milestones achievements in Technology of ancient Africa.

Nigeria’s Hubs dot ng and Ghanaian Farm Cap Win Big At the Event
The third day kicked off with a digital face-off that featured tech start-ups from Nigeria and across Africa that were curated by Network Of Incubators & Innovators In Nigeria (Nine) to pitch their ideas. After each start-up took round in participation, a Nigerian Hubs dot ng start-up and farm Cap from Ghana won the 2018 Digital Africa start-up pitch with one year of mentorship from Digital Africa Consult.
Hubs Dot Ng provided over 70% solution to the problem discussed by the panellist at the conference as their start up is building a digital ecosystem with services inspired by natural ecosystem; therefore, providing tech tools and services that will foster better life and development.
On the other hand, Farmcap is an AgricTech start-up in Ghana providing farmers with funds, lands, inputs and Iot devices to better manage productivity in the agricultural sector.
