NASA has set aside the sum of $43.2 million for investment in space technology. The fund will be distributed to 14 companies, including Blue Origin and Space for the development of innovative technologies that would take men to the Moon, Mars and beyond. Read More Here.


Microsoft’s Google Assistant will now be available on Xbox One. Henceforth, you will be able to use Google Assistant to play games, turn on the console, pause videos, and more. The service is now made available for both iOS and Android devices when you join a Google Group. Read More Here.


The 8th edition of GoTech World (former Internet & Mobile World) started today and will end tomorrow, 3rd October 2019. The two days event has been scheduled to take place at Romexpo, Romania in Europe. It includes exhibitions in IT, business software, cloud, information security, digital marketing, e-commerce and digitization solutions. Take A Look


According to a report by CNBC, Amazon wants to take its cashier-less technology from its Go stores to other retailers. This development is in preparation for hundreds of operational automated stores by the end of 2020. See More Here.


A leaked recording reveals Zuckerberg’s view on regulations regarding Facebook and other Big Tech companies. A new auto-flying kite by California-based Makani, owned by Alphabet Inc. may hold answers to harnessing wind energy for the world. The company is using the kite to harness power from the strongest winds above deep-sea. The kites are currently undergoing test off the coast of Norway. See More Here.


A group of young techies from Asia and Europe has raised 25 million euros for Bioquest Alliance, a construction factory to convert non-recyclable plastic waste into diesel. According to Wouter Meuldermans – CEO of Bioquest Alliance, the diesel will be used mainly as a marine fuel. Read Up Here.


BBC reports that a company owned by one Oskar Meijerink is planning to use high technology for the world’s first commercial production of jet fuel made partly from carbon dioxide. It will work by capturing carbon dioxide from the airport air and take it through a process to produce jet fuels. Amazon announced a partnership with several companies in its Voice Interoperability Initiative. This aims to support interoperable voice services on a single customer device so that the owner can access anyone they want by saying the recognized word. Some of the partners include Tencent, BMW, Baidu, Microsoft and Spotify. Read More Here.


Facebook has officially started hiding likes on posts to curb the rise of social media envy and embarrassment. Just like in Instagram, only the author of a post can still see counts but the same will be hidden from everyone else. This has taken effect in Australia and will be tested in more countries soon.
