WorldRemit, a digital money transfer company has launched a new feature ‘WorldRemit for Business’. The new feature will aid small and medium-sized business owners to pay their employees on time.

Customers will be able to access WordRemits fees and exchange rates up front. They will also have access to send money through WorldRemits website and app.  The company will leverage this service to save SMEs time and money.

Reports have it that the UK imports about $471 million worth of goods from Ghana each year. However, given that 85% of Ghana’s business is represented by SMEs, WorldRemit for Business will make it super easy for businesses to receive payment from the UK through their bank account, mobile money and cash pick up. These transfers will be processed within 24 hours.
