DFS Lab, in collaboration with the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), has opened a call for applications for a Blockchain Bootcamp, which is designed to give early to mid-stage African startups the opportunity to build on Stellar, an open-source blockchain network for financial services and products.

The Bootcamp is aimed to enable African companies in the early to mid-stage a chance to establish an open-source blockchain network for financial services and products.

The 3-day virtual bootcamp will culminate in a demo day where the most interesting solutions will be recognized with awards ranging from $5,000 to 20,000 USDC.

Additional grant funding, as well as potential investment from SDF’s Enterprise Fund and other investors who will be present at the demo day, will be available.

Fintech, blockchain-native, and crypto-curious businesses operating in Africa who want to improve their current services or integrate digital asset solutions into their business models for the first time are all encouraged to apply.

The deadline for applications is August 20, 2021.

Visit the website to apply or for additional information.
