After suspending the 2020 recruitment plan due to the COVID-19 crisis.

However, the French-African Foundation has reopened its Young Leaders program for 2021.

The program aims to support this new generation’s leadership and management potential, especially through its flagship Young Leaders program.

The French-African Foundation, which was established in February 2019.

More also, The foundation aims to recognize, put together, and promote the most promising talents on the French and African economic, political, academic, social, and cultural scenes.

This program allows its laureates to attend two workshops.

The first one in France and the other in Africa.

The program seeks to improve their leadership skills, network with senior leaders from the public and private sectors.

The initiative’s partners include: the Agence Française de Développement, Groupe Duval, Meridiam, Société Générale, Deloitte, Essec, Concerto, Qima, Baobab Group (formerly Microcred), and Egon Zehnder.

With the primary aim of fostering the creation of a Franco-African “new generation”.

Capable of meeting the world’s economic, social, and political challenges.

Every year, the program brings together a group of Young Leaders chosen from among the most promising prospects.

Also, they are tasked with playing a key role in Franco-African ties.

At the conclusion of the program, 100 African and French Young Leaders between the ages of 28 and 40 will be chosen.

“We are ecstatic to announce the launch of this year’s Young Leaders initiative, which will be more ambitious than previous editions.

Nobody can deny that we are living in a challenging environment that forces everyone to reinvent themselves.

In order to find long-term solutions and respond to current challenges.

The French-African Foundation’s Young Leaders 2021 program aims to provide a forum for 100 promising decision-makers to shape the contours of tomorrow’s world, according to Alexandre Coster, co-president.

Applications deadline is March 21.

The class of 2021 will be disclosed in May.

Interested applicants can apply via the website.
