A new project aimed at promoting women in technology and engineering in Africa has recently launched.
WemTech offers a training curriculum for young female software developers to equip them with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
The curriculum provides technical and soft skills training, as well as hands-on technical experience designing products and MVPs for LabEightportfolio *’s of African startups.
The curriculum is free for the engineers, and its mission is to empower female software engineers by providing them with real-world experience and preparing them for exciting career opportunities.
WemTech is pleased to announce that registration for the Spring 2021 program, which will run from May to August 2021, is now open.
WemTech is currently accepting applications, with interviews scheduled for April.
This program is for women with a background in software development, a passion for technology and the creation of software products, and a desire to become leaders in the field.
